Naming convention

To facilitate consistency, a naming convention for articles should be used. In general The Porsche 914 Wiki uses the same conventions that is used by Wikipedia. While not all of the Wikipedia naming conventions apply, they should convey the spirit of what should be used.

While the Wikipedia naming conventions should be used, they are pretty extensive. The following basic rules will get you a long way to creating properly named articles…

  • Lowercase second and subsequent words in titles
  • Prefer singular nouns
  • Use English words
  • Use common names of persons and things
  • Prefer spelled-out phrases to acronyms
