How I saved a corroded housing without welding.
I also chose to not weld as the coating interally is in great shape ,so I didnt want to excesseviley heat it and is a tricky weld ap.
machined , lite shrink fit and then aerospace hysol adhesive sealant appield.
The before picture would have shown the O-ring groove totally corroded away.

Awesome...

I opened a package today which looks amazing! Front cooler and something similar. ;)

Also received the MFI pump for the 3.0 911 motor. Getting closer to yanking the 2.5 for the 914.

I guess I better get some headwork done.

JKH, did you make the spacer yourself? If not, where did you purchase your spacer?

Don't know if you are still looking for the spacer, but I just noticed a guy in the UK has reproductions on sale on eBay. No affiliation. Not a bad price either.
