VINs are unknown to me, they might have crushed them.

OTTO told a story about being at the bone yard when they crushed more than one new 914-6's. He said that no parts could be pulled and they were smashed. Years later when I saw Once Upon a Wheel , I figured those were the cars that got crushed.

He told me the story at the San Diego Parade 91 while he was preping for the concours in the hotel parking lot.

Brad Mayeur (who worked for a dealer in the ‘70s) told me that Porsche gave 914/6s to the players on either the 49ers or Raiders for a year and then they were crushed. It was the same deal no parts could be removed from the cars.
