It's always a good day when you have some GT calipers on the bench. I guess today was an exceptionally good day.
These are for a bunch of significant GTish cars so we took the time to get them right.
Getting them right involved the proper Ribe R6 M7 square shouldered fasteners and the proper round spacers from the early 911 rear calipers of that era. While you can make the GT caliper with the later (75ish) cast formed spacer and the R5 M7 soft shouldered hardware, the early rounded spacers and 911 fasteners are correct. Fairly simple really, the 914-6 caliper nose section is the same as the 911 rear M-Caliper. The 911 nose actually has a circle cast into it where the outer adjuster hole and seat would be machined.
There's a couple shots of the spacers showing the difference between the more squared off profile fitting spacers and the proper rounded spacers.
Remaining pics just show the build.
Enjoy Dug, T.C. and Dave! ;)
