Where do you find such fun stuff?
many years of searching, I now have a set for each of my sixes!
One set came from me. I got them off a wrecked race car I got from a body shop here in CA. I might have to trade you something back for a set, I didn't realize you had three now!
I don't have 3 sets that was done with photoshop:D

A couple of months ago a set of Konis were on eBay and advertised as 914-6GT double adjustable.
The problem was, they weren't...they were actually Konis with the adjustment knob, but, did not have the threaded spring perch adjustment.
Like the red ones in Glenn's picture.
How hard would it be to ADD the threaded section to those to make real double adjustable Konis? Is it even possible with still being safe.
With the real GT double adjustable being like hens teeth to find...perhaps you could build them out?

They do have the threaded area, it i just painted

It would be pretty easy, they are welded on

That is interesting to know...I think they went for around $600? They did have a spring perch on there, just wasn't threaded.
For that price, could have made a set of convincing double adjustables.
Have to keep my eye out for them again.
Peter
here is another solution for un-threaded bodies

Seems like Performance Products used to sell a conversion for the spring top mount. Don't have catalog close by or I'd check.
