the one in that picture (the brown -4)
is in a secret/private collection in denver
it has been restored but was also changed to the color red during the restoration.
owner has been contacted and is not interested in selling it.. or showing it to anyone.

wonder why someone would buy/restore something like that and then not at least let folks see it.

Dan,
they guy has an amazing collection of one offs and amazing thing.
he collects for the sake of collecting and not to brad or show the collection.
he has a 1976 912 with 46 original miles that won parade a year or two back
he has one of the first ever 911 cup cars (the first year they made cup cars and only made 50 of them)
he has amazing things tucked away...

I have pictures of the orange ones restro....
post em Bruce , did you take em ?
As I remember some one visted and snapped a few pics clearly showing the orange paint GT flairs and bumper, Another local from Fla. was suprised they were able to take some pics of it.That Kevin didnt want pics taken of it.
Since then I emailed him and the reply I got was stay tuned...
I have to figure out how to post them here...direct or put them on photobucket and link to them.....
As to who took them, I can be anywhere in North Am in 4 hrs........ok it's more like 10 if you add the time to get to the airport and get thru security and the two hr pre check in for International flights, the add the waiting for you bag time and filling out of paperwork when it's determined that your bag is lost...... :)

Hi Bruce,
You can attach the photos to your message using the "manage attachments" button. You need to scroll down when composing or replying, as it's in the additional options section.

Thank you for posting those!
A 914/6 GT El Camino has to be one of the most unusual things I have ever seen
I saved those just incase one of mine gets rear ended someday........not sure how the insurance company would classify it tho :)

Another article
but this one seems to be the 2nd car - it has 5-lugs, the Aase-car has 4-lugs
or did they change 'em?
My understanding is that there was a 4 cylinder and a 6 cylinder.
I think this is the one that is orange now...GT El Camino
Brant is right, the 4 is in Denver, I tried to buy it at least twice now, but owner is hanging on tight. I've seen the pics, but was not able to see it in person "yet". Still working on that. When and If I do get the chance to lay hands on it, I'll let everyone know for sure.

The original Porsche factory PickUp
served as a model for the Brianza model in scale 1:43.
Pictures of the 1:1-replicas of later years.
There are more pick-conversions?
