Here is a car that is famous not so much for it race history but instead because of its marketing.
Here is a magazine ad, I am not sure which magazine or what date...anyone??
Candy Loving fills in as Miss Altec Lansing, at the Consumer Electronics Show June 1976 in Chicago.
The car was changed to silver with Cerwin-Vega sponsorship and raced its final race at Riverside in 1979. the car was then put on jack stands until recently when it was brought out of mothballs and raced at Monterey Historics.

Where DO you find this stuff?
Where do you KEEP this stuff?
I thought I was a packrat, but can't hold a candle to you!
That's not a negative, but a positive comment.

Where DO you find this stuff?
Some of the history of the car was supplied by the former owner, others from my database of races & serial numbers.
Where do you KEEP this stuff?
I have some room for storage and alot more on my server.

Lets just say it will not be a trivial task if/when I move :)

It was sometime around 1976. I had the full size poster on my wall as a teenager.
Martin,
Thanks for sharing these photos, how did the 914 do in the race?
BTW your car looks GREAT!
