The story as I recall:
In Early 1970 Werner B. Heiderich (The Spanish Porsche importer) decided to have a 914/6 customized, he first tried to get Giorgetto Giugiaro but he was booked up.
Heiderich commissioned designer Pietro Frua to build this car, which would resemble the Mercedes Benz C111 (including gullwing doors). The story goes that Von Hanstein saw the car at the March 1971 Geneva Car Show called Ferry Porsche who drove down to see it. There was some kind of deal struck where a limited number of cars would be supplied to Heiderich to customize in Madrid. I think VW wouldn’t or couldn’t supply the cars.

I think Werner B. Heiderich currently owns the car.
