Wolfgang,

What am I missing here? Is this a reproduction or the real thing? Why has no one purchased this? A lightened version of an original 914-6 flywheel at Patrick is $500...and this is the real deal for 1/2 that?

Peter, you posted a link to a 911 R/ST/RSR muffler, not to a flywheel ... ??

Wolfgang,

I fixed the link...had cut and paste in a previous thread.

This went unsold in a previous auction for 500Euro

I'm guessing location is a huge factor in why it has not sold, many people are leary of buying something from Europe with those kind of dollars involved.

I can't tell you for sure, but the auctions doesn't say that it's an original part

it only says that it's new, so my guess would be that this is a repro part?

but it might be a good part anyway, because the current bidder is Mittelmotor, Europes largest Porsche parts dealer

Mittelmotor, Europes largest Porsche parts dealer

Gustl where do you have this misinformation about MM??

The flywheel was the scound time listed.....
In the first auction the starting bid was 500 Euros

Hi Wilco, nice to meet you here http://www.oct.at/images/Smile_wavey.gif

well, a couple of years ago I've read it at a german sales ad, where someone referred to MM as the largest Porsche 914 parts dealer
not knowing if there are other larger ones I didn't think that this wasn't a correct information

edit: o.k. - now I realised that I missed the "914" in my previous post

Hi Wolfgang,
Okay, for teeners it is correct but for Porsche parts over all
MM is a small number. :p
