Hi, all...
I just found this site a day or so ago while surfin around. It looked like the start of a new site, but after reading some of the threads it appears it is a reincarnation of a previous forum. Is that true?
There doesn't seem to be much traffic either, is that because it is new? or ???
I was hopeing and looking for a source for info on the 914 line of cars, as I'am going to be doing some work on the one I picked up. I know this may be the wrong thing to ask, but, is there a site that would have Tech write-ups and info on the 914. I got the 914 to play with, as I have a gorgeous concour 968 and wanted something I could MOD without feeling to guilty about it.

And, are there many or any from Colorado here?

There are a number of sites around with 914 information. Pelican Parts is one; they've got a bunch of tech articles and parts diagrams and electrical diagrams and so on. They've also got a 914 forum which is a little more active than this one (but not that much more right now). Disclaimer: I work for them (sort of).

If you still have the stock D-jetronic EFI on your 2.0, you need to go here and read it all: http://members.rennlist.com/pbanders .

If your transmission is in trouble, you can check: http://home.san.rr.com/pb914/ .

For a very active forum with a relatively low signal:noise ratio (i.e., lotsa "noise"), http://www.914world.com . Also http://www.914club.com , but I have heard that there are a couple of technical glitches over there at the moment. Those two grew out of a single web site, but there was some huge drama at the end of last year and the site fissioned into two. (Three?)

There are interesting bits and pieces of 914 info somewhat scattered around on the Net. Ask for specific things, or a category of things, and chances are we can point you to where you need to go.

Dave is correct. The thing is, many of the tech guys hang out here where one doesn't need to wade through thousands of posts to find real info. Roadglue was in existance for several years, and was recently brought back to serve the needs of the community.
