A lot changes in a racer in 4 four years - but could be the same, Prlly never know for sure. Was always partial to Sepia Brown, though it belonged on 911's of the period. Here's the pic again, from 1974.

This is the one that almost killed me! Was sitting on a hay bale, setting up for photos at the end of Mid-Ohio's back straight. 914 overcooks in the hairpin, slides off course & hits the hay bale I'm sitting on. Snapped this as he re-entered the course. The dent is from the hay bale, not me, but I did get a little bloodied up. Stupid, but those were the early days of racing. If you had a camera with a big lens, the marshalls let you go anywhere.

The car pictured above (by Pat) was originally raced by Donald Parish of Indy
and then campaigned by John Hulen & Ron Coupland in IMSA until 1981

This might be the car Parish used for C-Prod SCCA in 1971 (7th at ARRC)

Isn't this stuff cool?! Start digging into personal archives & it's amazing the history you come up with. It's such ancient history, I don't know if anyone cares (except the principals), but cool nonetheless.

This was the Johnson-Bozzani 914/6 driven by John Hotchkis, Robert Kirby, Leonard Jones. It probably started out looking like the car on the left ('72 Sebring) and ended up looking like the car on the right ('77 Sebring).
